How to install

  • Roller blinds

  • Each roller blind would come with a pair of brackets, child safety clip, a stop ball and 5 pieces of screws (4 for brackets and 1 for safety clip). Each packed blind would have a sticker on it with the following details
    1. Name / Location of the blind
    2. Size of the blind (Width X height)
    3. Face / Recess Fitting
So, before installation you can arrange these blinds in order (you can put them next to the windows as per the names on each) along with a pair of brackets, safety clip, a stop ball and 5 pieces of screws)
Things you need to do installation
    1. Automatic (wired / non- wired) drill
    2. A pencil or pen to mark down the hole positions
    3. Screw driver or you can use automatic wired or non-wired screwdriver
    4. Step ladder (if the window’s architraves are higher)
Face fit installation (on top of the window frame)
    1. Take one of the brackets and mark the holes on the top left/ right corner of outside frame. (Make sure you put the right bracket on the correct side as both the brackets are different. One is used to for chain (male) winder and other one (female) winder is used for pin shaped winder)
    2. Now use the drill for pre-drill (it optional, you can put the screws straight away)
    3. Once it done, take the right bracket and hang it up with two screws (out of 5 given screws)
    4. Repeat the same to put the other bracket on other side
    5. Now you need to hang the blind up. Make sure you hang the chain winder evenly into the male bracket else it will make sound while rolling up or down
    6. Please keep in mind that each blind would be 2-3 mm less than the actual size. So, you can adjust the brackets or use the female winder pin to increase the width.
    7. Now use the chain winder to check that the blind goes fine up or down.
    8. Now, open the blind till the bottom edge of the window and put the chain stop ball into the chain just before it enters into the winder (chain drive)
    9. At last, fix the chain child safety clip (please don’t tight it completely else the stop ball will stuck into it so, make it little loose which will allow the stop ball to go through the safety clip)
Recess fit installation (inside the window frame)
    1. Installation for this is pretty similar to the face fit installation with only one difference that is brackets go inside the frame instead of on top of the frame.
    2. So, take the male bracket (for chain winder) and put it on the correct corner (left / right as per you want the chain to be) and repeat all the options from Face fit installation. And congratulations, you have done it.

Note: You can watch many videos available on YouTube for this if still not sure how to do it.
  • Motorised Roller blinds

  • Installation for motorised roller blinds is exactly same as the normal blinds. Here instead of chain winder we use the winder attached to the motor (this motor will be inserted to the blind so you no need to worry).
  • Curtains (Sheer/ Blackout)

  • Curtain for each window would come with a required number of brackets, a stick and track. Each packed curtain would have a sticker on it with the following details
    1. Name / Location of the curtain
    2. Sizes and the number of hooks (Width X height)
So, before installation you can arrange these curtains and tracks in order (you can put them next to the windows as per the names on each).

Things you need to do installation
    1. Automatic (wired / non- wired) drill
    2. A pencil or pen to mark down the hole positions
    3. A stud finder (If installing on a wall or ceiling)
    4. Screw driver or you can use automatic wired or non-wired screwdriver
    5. Step ladder (if the window’s architraves are higher)

First of all, make it clear where the curtain going to be installed. Then use the stud finder to find the stud in wall/ceiling and mark it as per the holes of the bracket. Repeat the same for all the brackets you want to install a particular curtain. We usually maintain a gap of 80-100 cm between two brackets. Then use the automatic drill to predrill and then use the screw driver or automatic screwdriver to install the bracket. Repeat the same for all the brackets and then hang the curtain track. Make sure you lock the track into brackets with the help of the clips. And then hang the curtain from one corner to another. While hanging the curtain from one corner, make the S-WAVE (folds) as you go to other side. Keep one-fold inside and next one outside and keep repeating it until you reach the end of another corner. There will be runner in the track to hang the stick (Wand) so once you done hanging the curtain hang this stick (this stick will be used to open/close the curtain). And congratulations, you have done it.

Note: You can watch many videos available on YouTube for this if still not sure how to do it.

  • Plantation shutters

  • Note: You should watch some videos available on YouTube for this.

Things will come in the package
    1. Shutter Panels
    2. Shutter frame (including T if there is any)
Things you need to do installation
    1. Automatic (wired / non- wired) drill
    2. A pencil or pen to mark down the hole positions
    3. Screw driver or you can use automatic wired or non-wired screwdriver
    4. Step ladder (if the window’s architraves are higher)

First of all, sort out the panels and frames as per the order sheet. Then open the frames first. You need to assemble these into a frame. Every side of this frame will have written (T – top, B- bottom, L – Left and R- right) on each. Arrange them accordingly and join them with the help of keys attached to these frame sides. Once the frame is ready, lift it and put it inside the frame (if its recess fit). Please take help of someone if needed as this frame isn’t strong until it hooked in the window frame. Once you put the frame inside the frame put two screws in each corner to attach each side to the window frame. Once it’s done hang the panels to this frame with the help of the hinge pins. Each panel will have a number and (L/R) written on it. And now it’s almost done, check if its closing and opening fine. Now, put more screws in the middle of the sides to give it more strength.

For face fit shutter the whole process is same as recess fit but you need to have 1 or 2 more people to hold the frame for you while attaching it to the window frame. First of all, assemble it in the same way as mentioned above and then hold this frame next to the window frame. Match the sides with window architraves and put at least two screws on top so it doesn’t fall. Once its done, check its align with window architraves if not, try to adjust it. Then, put more screws to give it more strength to hold the panels. Now hang the panels with the help of the hinge’s pins. And congratulations, you have done it.
